The Dog Dad Deserves a Good Treat. So Does the Dog.
Share
Father's Day is June 21st. And if your household includes a dog dad who lets the dog sleep on the bed, shotgun the truck seat, or steal his spot on the couch — this one's for you.
This year we're celebrating with 20% off our Roll products from June 16–21. If you haven't tried them yet, keep reading. And if you already have, you know exactly why they're the first thing to grab.
What's a Roll, Anyway?
Our rolls are single-ingredient, slow-dried meat treats rolled into a dense, chewy log that you can slice to whatever size works for your dog. One ingredient. No fillers. No preservatives. Nothing you can't pronounce.
We make them in five proteins: rabbit, bison, elk, venison, and beaver. All Canadian-farmed or wild-harvested. All federally inspected. The rabbit? Brian and I raise that ourselves right here on our farm.
That's not a marketing line. That's just Tuesday.
Why Rolls Are Different
A lot of treats are mostly filler. Grain, potato starch, glycerin — the meat gets listed somewhere in the middle. Our rolls are the opposite. Pure protein, dried low and slow to lock in nutrients.
Here's what that actually means for your dog:
Less poop. Seriously. When a dog is eating food and treats with a lot of filler, their body passes more of it through. Real protein gets absorbed. Less waste. Easier cleanup. Dog dads appreciate this more than they'll admit.
More energy. Clean protein fuels dogs the way it should. You'll notice it. The spark is back. The zoomies have more zoom.
Better coat. Single-ingredient, high-protein treats contribute to skin and coat health over time. Less itching, more shine.
Easier on sensitive stomachs. No mystery ingredients means fewer reactions. If your dog has been dealing with digestive issues or food sensitivities, switching to single-ingredient treats is often the first thing that makes a difference.
Built for a Summer of Adventures
This is the time of year when dogs actually get to live their best life. Cottage weekends. Hikes in the bush. Paddling the lake. Beach days. Road trips with the windows down.
Rolls travel well. Slice them ahead of time, toss them in a bag, done. No crumbling, no mess, no strong smell taking over the car. They hold up in heat better than soft treats and they're easy to break into training-sized pieces on the go.
Whether you're rewarding a good recall on the trail or just handing out a treat because it's a good day — rolls are the one to reach for.
The Proteins, Briefly
Rabbit — Our own. Lean, easy to digest, great for dogs with allergies to more common proteins like chicken or beef. Mild flavour that even picky dogs love.
Bison — Rich, nutrient-dense, and lower in fat than beef. A fan favourite. Dogs go absolutely wild for it.
Elk — Wild and lean. A good option for active dogs that need real fuel.
Venison — Gamey in the best way. Dogs think it's the best thing that ever happened to them.
Beaver — Yes, beaver. Truly wild-harvested, truly Canadian, and one of the most unique proteins you can offer a dog with food sensitivities. Also the one that gets the most double-takes from people at the cottage. Worth it.
