The treat bundle offers a large variety of protein options for your pets. Rabbit meat is significantly leaner and higher in protein compared to other meats, making it ideal for pet owners looking to diet their pets or just looking for a healthy alternative to high sugar or processed fats found in many other pet treats.

Beaver meat is an excellent source of protein and iron and is also high in Amino Acids with a low Cholesterol and Fat content making it a brilliant addition to any pet’s dietary needs. Bison is a leaner and more nutrient-dense meat that is lower in calories, fat, and saturated fat. It is higher in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, iron, selenium, and certain B vitamins.

Finally, Elk and Venison (deer) meat is good for pets as it is low in fat and cholesterol. With its natural lean red meat, it is a healthier protein source for dogs and cats compared to other pet food proteins such as beef or chicken.

Natural and unprocessed meat-based diets have so many benefits for our precious pets such as shinier coats, healthier skin, cleaner teeth and higher energy levels. These benefits are not limited to our pooches and felines, it too helps various exotic creatures such as pet ferrets, foxes and prairie dogs.

Alongside a growing body of veterinarians, pet owners and researchers, we believe that the practice of feeding cooked and processed food to our pets has contributed to a dramatic decline in the quality of pet food available.

We have tapped into natures bounty, knowing that an all natural-organic treat would provide the best nutritional values to our pets. Our goal is to spread awareness of the health benefits of 100% meat treats, allowing our beloved pets to live longer, healthier lives.

We gave our dogs each a beaver roll for the first time tonight and they absolutely loved them. What a fantastic treat. All three were lip smacking with delight. We love the idea of giving them some variety. These are going to stay in the rotation of treats we use. Thank you so much for caring about quality and healthy food for pets!

  2. Brianna Cusson

My bulldog Winston absolutely adores the indigenous strips from Shades of Gray Rabbitry! Training is only made possible with an extra special treat that he really goes crazy over and these are it. His breed is notorious for sensitive stomachs and these are one of the few things that don’t negatively affect him, which I love!! Thanks so much for creating our favourite dog treats. Winston says thank you, too!!

  3. Daniella Trubela

Met these folks at a dog event in Oshawa and purchased some rabbit jerky. My dog went bonkers so guess what he is getting for Christmas! Great quality. Love that it’s all Ontario grown too. I don’t have to worry about a thing!

  4. Emma Haskins

My dogs absolutely love the dog treats from Shades of Gray Rabbitry! I am a dog breeder, and always recommend their products to new puppy owners. The indigenous strips are great for training because they easily broke off into smaller pieces. Service and quality are always fantastic!

  5. Heath S

My dogs love the subscriptuon!! Whenever it arrives at our house they follow me around until they receive a snack. I dont think they have a favourite, they love each bag! And I love watching them sample all the varieties! These are def their favorite treats.

  6. Stephanie (verified owner)

I cannot rave about these treats enough as I listen to the happy crunching coming from Amber and Flynn! You can tell the quality as soon as you touch them and definitely hear it! My girl Amber is quite picky and she is gobbling these down! (I should have ordered two)!
Our large dog package came with rabbit rolls, indigenous strips and two packages of beaver rolls. Which are their faves? ALL OF THEM!!
    Highly recommend!!!
